Tools Needed: Fish line or dental floss, cleaning compound (rubbing alcohol) and Goo Gone or WD-40 adhesive remover
First test a hidden spot on your vehicle with the Goo Gone to make sure its safe on your paint. If you feel comfortable with the result, start by dabbing the liquid from the top or with WD-40, point nozzle toward mark. Saturate area around the rear trunk trim and let it soak for several minutes.
Next, with a fish line or dental floss, slide between the trim and the body of your 300. With both hands, wiggle it from top to bottom until the trim is removed. Tab some more goo gone or spray additional WD40 over the residual adhesive on the body of your car. With a clean rag, drag the adhesive trim. Repeat, until adhesive tape is removed.
